Hi Mark,

Are the contacts getting wiped out on the handheld or desktop? If the  
desktop has the complete set of data, please try a desktop overwrites  
handheld sync for contacts. (ONLY do this if the desktop has a  
complete set of data)

If that doesn't take care of it, you might want to reset the sync  
history for contacts.

To do this, please do the following:

1. Launch iSync
2. Choose iSync > Preferences
3. Click Reset Sync History... in the Advanced Section

Then, try the desktop overwrites handheld sync again. If that works,  
then try a standard sync.
