[missing-sync-winmobile-talk] Can't update ROM using v2.5

I think the difference is that with a ROM update the
device has to suspend all OS activity in order to
overwrite the existing firmware, and hence must be put
into the special mode by the PC. It also wipes out any
of your custom settings, installed applications,
phonebook, etc so make sure to back up first.
