A restart is probably the best thing to do, but there should be a
script mentioned in the discussion somewhere which will force quit
and then restart the sync plugins. The fact that you're not getting
the settings to come up (I think) has to do with them quitting
(probably when you stopped the transfer.)
Hope that helped... I just wish I remembered the script.
If it wasn't mentioned here it was probably on the testing list.

Also, I'm noticing that in The Missing Sync in the "Plugins" tab, in
addition to not syncing I can't get the "Settings" to come up for any
of the plugins. I'm hoping that my process finishes sometime soon so
that I can restart the Mac and hope that fixes this issue.
