I'm rather... incensed by the full version upgrade fee as well.  Granted 
they try to help by giving those who bought in October the new version 
for free, but October is a little too recent, IMHO... especially since 
some of the bugs you mention, like that one (and all-day repeating 
events not syncing) still aren't fixed.

 From the press release, I can't even use most of the new features 
because I have WM 2003, but I still need the fixes for the other issues 
as I never had the problem under 2.0 (I just had quite a few others).
