[missing-sync-winmobile-talk] Still can't get Active sync as an option

I read recently that a cingular 8125 user successfully synced their device
with a previous build. I have soft-reset my device, killall blued in
terminal restarted many times and can¹t get anything but serial as a service
when I pare my 8125. I also hear something about transparent dots?? I have
never seen anything when pairing, except the bluetooth  icon changes when it
is paired. I have tried every new update up to ..a13. What am I missing. Any
help would be appreciated. My system:
