1.) Have you tried contacting the support team? They are very kind
and effective.
2.) I'm now (unfortunately) used to that problem! ... so I know
something more:
If you leave the device connected for a (normally) long while, then
that last message of the log changes
and a more accurate error shows concerning to a specific event or
contact... But, once checking that contact
or event you will not understand the why of that error!! Now I'm
ignoring all that! I just wait for a while more. Then the device
reconnects to the missing sync software and (most of the times) the
synchronisation performs correctly the next time!
But it's a hell when the device doesn't connect again (this is
happening to me today). In this case I wait for the next day and
start the sync... (and pray ... if I chose the "overwrite the device"
preference and lost some data).
(I'm running Tiger on an iBook and have a XDA, Qtek 1010).
