Hi Rob,

I asked for the results of this test a few weeks ago but didn't get  
them. Please do this and send back the capture; it may contain the  
answer to your connection issue:

1) Open Terminal
2) Type in
/usr/bin/sudo /usr/sbin/tcpdump -c 1000 -i ppp0 -s 0 -w ~/Desktop/ 
tcpdump_capture.dmp
3) enter your password
4) it will fail
5) Start a connection
6) In terminal, hit up arrow, and return so it tries to issue the  
same command again
7) repeat step 6 until it doesn't fail.
8) Once the process fails, hit control C
9) send me the file "tcpdump_capture.dmp" which is on your Desktop.
