The 8125 accepts MiniSD only (I have one and love it). It is an HTC Wizard
with a new shell. Yes, WM5 is significantly better than WM2K3 in both
networking and efficiency, but you'll need to consult with Microsoft (and
independent review sites) to substantiate that claim.
