No, to sync you need the BT connection to be launched. With a card
reader you can only read/write files to the card reader. Contacts,
events and tasks are saved in the device.

Did you checked solutions in the Forum ? What exactly happened ?

I'm not sure I can be able to help you, but if you explain clearly your
problem(s) I'm sure someone can !
