This is the way it seems to be designed, I can't find a way around this - you have to copy (drag and drop works) between the two calenders. Beware if you do this set the exchange server calender to have no reminders otherwise you'll end up with 2 reminders for each event. This is a pain but what do you expect from a Windoz derived program
