I've found my switch (Palm to Symbian to WinMo5) to be
a mixed bag. My SDA (similar to the 8125) is a great
device - does everything I need a phone to do and more
and syncs pretty well with various beta versions of
Missing Sync, which I think will be top notch once out
of beta. But getting my phone to be what it is now
really required a PC. Updates and applications for
WinMo don't always come as .CAB (like the .PRC files
on Palm) a lot of them require an XP environment with
Active Sync to install (.MSI files for example) This
hasn't been a problem for me - and if you have
BootCamp installed on a MacinTel, I think that would
work as well (Parallels suport for USB is iffy still)
Don't take this as a swipe against MissingSync - it's
great at what it does - but if you're not having
issues with the 650, I'm not sure the 8125 is a mac
only device for you.... (just my 2 cents)
