Yes, that has been the problem. For many phones, flight mode doesn't  
disable Bluetooth, but this is not the case for the Q.

Everything sounds right to me. So if flight-mode on/off breaks the  
connection and allows The Missing Sync to connect, that would be an  
easier workaround. Can you confirm that this does indeed work?
