Hi Jessica
Regarding your Cingular, I don't know anything about, but concerning your 2
G SD card, I suggest You to proceed as following :
1.  put your SD Card in a  SD Card reader directly connected to Your Mac
2. copy ALL the files of the SD card on your Mac (in a new Backup file)
3. with Disk Utility program initialize your SD Card with MS DOS system
4. copy back all Your ³backuped² files on Your SD card

That¹s it
