[missing-sync-winmobile-talk] Idle plug-in

I thought I would report back on the issue I was having synchronizing
iCal on my SDA for the benefit of others who may have a similar
problem. I found I could wake up the chronically Idle Calendar
Events plugin by restarting the computer. Once I dealt with that I
implemented the suggestion of Pete from Missing Sync support. He
suggested that the problems with my sync might be related to asking
it to limit the events to those less than 2 weeks old. Instead I
just asked it to synchronize everything. The process then seemed to
go fine except that it was synchronizing events going back 5 years (I
guess I should clean up occassionally). I killed that process and
then archived my calendar and eliminated everything over 2 weeks
old. After that it went fine. The only things that failed were an
occassional recurring event that had no end date (some of those
worked, some didn't).

The strange thing is that now when I go back to settings and change
it to less than two weeks old it works just fine. Furthermore, if I
restore from my archive so everything back 5 years is there, it now
works fine. Some of this may be related to the new update to Missing
Sync 2.5.1. which I installed in the interim. Nevertheless, I am
not complaining.

Thanks to those of you who made suggestions.

Now, can anyone suggest a better Calendar for WM5. This one is
pretty basic.

Curt
