What extra software? I have T-Mobile MDA, which with 2.2.6 ROM upgrade
(released this week by T-Mobile) which has the required USB utility (the one
that switch connection from RDIS to serial) but what software for Parallels?
I looked for a thread on this and could not find one. Basically the poor
support for USB devices (I have more USB issues than just the MDA with this
software) is preventing me using it (currently using up 20G of hard-drive
space with Boot Camp). Whilst Boot Camp is great to enable XP to run for the
limited things I need it for it can¹t see the Mac partition (I¹ve tried
MacDrive with no luck) so easy transfer between XP and Mac is difficult (its
basically one way Mac to PC), Parallels would fix this but..... It would
also be nice as Parallels only uses the disk space it needs ­ it can grow
and shrink dynamically (well to shrink it you need to defrag and compact
but).
