Thanks for posting your thoughts on this Gib.
I refrained from writing some similar comments myself but
do agree with the advice/ suggestions in this post.
1)
Quote just what is necessary to help readers focus on your topic.
2)
Keep our postings (as much as possible) related to message thread's
stated focus as listed in SUBJECT field. This helps us all
follow topics we are (or or not) interested in.
It will also make it easier to search for topics or issues of interest.
3)
If our remarks are going onto different issues, adjust SUBJECT line
to help others follow message threads.
Not trying to criticize or "flame" anyone, just friendly comments
that might help us all save disk-space but especially save time.
