[missing-sync-winmobile-talk] Palm OS to Treo 700w

FlameFlash, I think maybe we've had this conversation before, but do  
you have the device mounted when you try to disconnect? If so, eject  
the volume from the Finder and then disconnect from within Missing  
Sync or the device and Missing Sync should not lock. This works for  
me on the MacBook Pro everytime.
