I think you will have to make sure you can use the same name on both the Mac
and ActiveSync.
Now that your device has the ActiveSync 3.8 partnership name, you can try to
³Unregister² the Missing Sync client with Apple¹s Sync Services. You can do
that either using the iSync preference option to ³Reset Sync History², or
the MSSyncUtility (available for download at www.markspace.com/testing. Also
review the ³Information on the MSSyncUtility² for how to use the utility to
unregister.
If you are not also synching with .Mac and any other phone, I recommend that
you use the iSync preference option to ³Reset Sync History² (with out the
device connected), and then connect and sync again.
