Here is a record direct from my iPAQ hx4705 (written on the device). It is a
recurring event that occurs the fourth Thursday of each month for eight
months at 12:40-13:40 US ET. I have also tried setting it to the last
Thursday. Entourage 2004 seems to understand both concepts (numbered week
of month or first/last week of month). When I clear all of my desktop
records in iCal and sync, the appointmen moves to the closest Sunday. The
same thing occurs when I sync to Entorage. I am including three items:
1. The backup record that was backed up on the device by SKTools
2. The iCal version of the same event
3. TheEntourage version

Note that I have two such recurring, finite, positional appointments--one on
the last Monday and this on the fourth Thursday. They both end up in
Entorage 2004 in the Same Sunday. But in iCal the Thursday appointment ends
up on the Sunday before the other repeater.
