[missing-sync-winmobile-talk] Why is this happening again

For the second time now I am being informed that MS will add over 600 
contacts to my address book. The last sync was about ten days ago and 
worked perfectly. I have not changed 600 contacts, let alone added them.

This is so frustrating...

I cancelled the sync, but what should I do? I don't want to reset the 
device, it has got new information on it which I still need.
