The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile should work fine with 10.4.3. We tested
Missing Sync with early versions of 10.4.3 and the final version. I did see
a few other postings to this list from people who had problems right after
upgrading. Sounds like you have already checked your firewall settings. If
you have the firewall enabled try opening ports 5678 and 5679. Also try:
1) Soft Reset your device
2) Make sure ActiveSync is set to sync via USB
Launch ActiveSync on the device, then go to Options > Options (again) >
enable "When cradled Enable PC Sync using this connection" and make sure USB
is selected in the pop-up.
3) Connect directly to the Mac
Do NOT use a USB hub or usb port on a keyboard
4) Internet Connection
Some users have reported that they can only connect while they have an
Internet connection. This should not be the case, but try to connect the
device while you are connected to the Internet.
5) Trash Preferences
Trash the " MissingSync for Windows Mobile Prefs" preferences file found at
~/Library/Preferences/MissingSync for Windows Mobile Prefs.
If you still can't connect send your log file and console log (.zip the two
together) to support using the form at
http://www.markspace.com/support/request_windowsmobile.html.
