Doesn't Acrobat you some software that runs only on
Windows to package up PDFs and push them to the PDA? 
I know at least the Palms have this... 

Can PDFs be simply dragged on to the mounted PDA
volume and copied there?

If this is the case (Windows only software), then I
sure something can be worked out with MissingSync and
Adobe to have some similar functionality on the Mac.
