May I offer a few comments?

First, I agree with Fred that this isn't the end of the world - but I
understand that for users who LOST functionality by upgrading to Tiger,
expecting that functionality to return on the promised release date, the
delay is not a good thing.

And, I agree with other posters that the absence of information from the
publisher on their own list until the last possible moment isn't the
pinnacle of customer service. The proffered explanation doesn't mollify the
customers; indeed, it suggests that the publisher didn't consider it might
be important to consider the customers in short-range planning. That's
DEFINITELY not a good thing.

I'd also like to address one other issue. This list is just about the only
one I subscribe too in which the entire history of a thread tends to get
rehashed in its entirety with every new post. Makes for a nice parade of
angle brackets at the beginning of each line, but wastes lots of the
bitstream.

Perhaps all of us - customers, posters, and software publishers - can learn
a thing or two from episodes such as this.

Let's not forget that much larger companies; i.e., the BIGGEST (Microsoft)
have yet to produce their own promised Tiger-sync compatible version of
their contacts/calendar management software (OK, they didn't make any
pledges regarding a release date, but they're not offering any HINTS of a
release date, either, which is no better).

AND, I have one question for anyone who knows: Mark/Space says we'll be able
to synchronize both Mac AND Wintel PC with the Tiger-compatible Missing
Sync. What if the Mac OS and Windows XP OS are running on the same box;
i.e., VPC?
