All,

I am sorry that the software is going to be late. We were pushing hard to
make the end-of-June deadline, and we saw that it just wasn't going to
happen. There isn't much we can do about it except keep working hard, which
we are. We're not happy about it either.

I understand  and appreciate that some of you are highly frustrated by this
announcement and its perceived chosen timing. I understand that some of you
are frustrated by the negative feelings directed at Mark/Space. BOTH ARE
OKAY. That Mac users hold developers, and each other, to a higher standard
than the rest of the industry is part of what makes our platform of choice
so great, and neither I, nor the rest of the Mark/Space staff, would bemoan
that fact.

It is okay to criticize Mark/Space on this list. It is okay to help each
other on this list.

It is not okay, nor will we tolerate, negative or disparaging comments
directed towards list members. This is a list for opinions and assistance,
not ridicule and insult, so please refrain from the latter.
