Jim, I'm sure Mark/Space appreciates your expression of support. But
your argument fails to address the real issue.
Sure, software development is complicated; no one would argue
otherwise. The problem here is that people were informed at the latest
possible moment that the upgrade allowing for compatibility with Tiger
will be delayed. Angry reactions should have been anticipated and could
easily have been avoided if this were simply handled differently, i.e.,
if the unfortunate news been dispensed in a timely manor.
That said, there are only two satisfactory products available to those
who wish to sync Pocket PCs to OS X: MissingSync and PocketMac Pro.
I'll probably stick with Missing Sync so as to avoid the time and
trouble involved in switching over. Mark/Space must be hoping that many
will feel as I do, because any hopes of product loyalty being a factor
are simply no longer realistic.
