[missing-sync-pocketpc-talk] Missing Sync for Win Mobile Moved to July

Eric,

This is really disappointing -- not so much having to push back the
date, but the complete failure to manage your customers' expectations
efficiently and timely. This list has been a-buzz with questions and
concerns about the release date as June drew to a close -- and much much
earlier -- and announcing the day before the product is due that it's
delivery will be pushed back is really unacceptable.

I have been a long time supporter of MarkSpace and was an early beta
tester for the first release of Missing Sync for Pocket PC. I have been
involved with application development even longer. Believe me when I say
that I understand how complex an operation it is to write, test and
release an application like this. As a delivery person, it's my
responsibility to keep my customers happy. When I don't, and their
expectations aren't well managed, I risk losing busines -- just like
MarkSpace shall, I suspect.

There are many drawbacks going with your competition - but their product
is available now. And my Mac has been un-sync'd from my PPC for almost 2
months. That's really not acceptable any more. I cannot begin to tell
you how phenomenally disappointed I am. And it's not so much that MSWM
is /late,/ it's that you waited until /*now*/ to announce the revised
date. Many of us planned around this, but I cannot be as flexible any
more, nor as conciliatory as I was when Tiger first came out and the
flames on this list started and I stood up for you guys. Now, I feel
this is a real slap in the face.

I was your customer. I was your supporter. And now, I don't know if I
can be either.

Seth
