[missing-sync-pocketpc-talk] Sync stopped

Are you by chance using Fast User Switching or trying to sync on the  
Mac account under which the Missing Sync was not originally  
installed? If this is the case, try restarting your Mac and logging  
directly onto the user account that you wish to sync - don't use Fast  
User Switching.
