[missing-sync-pocketpc-talk] Re: missing-sync-pocketpc-talk Digest, Vol 31, Issue 3

In response to a few questions/comments ("Why Outlook and iCal?"), I
have Outlook at work (enterprise directory/scheduling/calendars,
etc), iCal at home -- where I've switched to mostly Macs. The office
is a PC shop -- a couple thousand devices on a private network. The
Smartphone has been my neutral link, conveying data between
locations. MS's ActiveSync synched calendars (with my Smartphone as
intermediary) from these two environments just fine.

What I want now that I have Macs at home is a union of both
environments -- iCal data synched to my work computer and Outlook
data synched to my Mac. E.g., the kids' camp schedules meet work
commitments. Reportedly, The Missing Sync does this, as do other
products like PocketMac. I'm wary of using a product, though, that
works "most of the time" -- the group chatter is disconcerting.

Has anyone used The Missing Sync to synch iCal and Outlook via a
Smartphone (Audiovox 5600)?

Thank you for your feedback.

Jim
