1) Does this mean things will probably make the round trip between my mac,
my ppc, and my windows box at work?

2) Will there be an upgrade price?

thanks

Greetings,

Mark/Space is pleased to announce The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile, a
major upgrade to The Missing Sync for Pocket PC. This product is expected to
ship before the end of June, but you can check out the features, like
Entourage and Smartphone support, on our website.

<http://dev.markspace.com/missingsync_windowsmobile.html>

We'll be offering free upgrades to anyone who purchased/purchases The
Missing Sync for Pocket PC on or after April 1, 2005.

Finally, I'd like to thank you, our customers, for the great feedback you
gave us that led to this upgrade. We know that you have a choice, and we
appreciate your support.

All the best,
Eric

Finally! I can''t even start telling you, how much I'm looking forward
to this.

Three questions though:

Since it says "Mac OS X 10.3.8 or later", will it have full Tiger
support?

Will there be a public beta (or even a closed one, one could apply for)
before the final release?

Will you be using POOM to access the handheld data this time around?

Keep up the good work

- Michael

Good news for us! However I have to say I am disappointed to read I
will have to pay to get the upgrade.

As we see on this list, the missing Sync for Pocket PC is far from
completed and there are often problems with it. I for example was never
able to connect to the Internet with the PocketPC...

So Eric, come on man give us something here!

You can choose to reset your device. On the next sync your Mac information
will overwrite your device. To do this, choose "Reset All Devices" from the
Device menu in iSync.

Did you try the steps in the User's Guide?

Tiger will be supported.

Yes! We will be accepting BETA applications via an online form later this
week. This will be a closed beta.

Yes! This means improved synchronization for things like alarms, recurring
events, categories! We also only sync the changed records.

Thanks!

Thanks to all who gave me the tip for resetting the device, that worked.
Internet still doesn't, though.

Yes, but there is a bit of a problem. The Guide seems to assume that
there are certain factory settings on my PPC, but I cannot find those.

I did enable Internet in the Proxy section, but this didn't help.

On the Mac side, I don't see the USB port as a sharing option, should I
see this? I tried setting up a connection via Ethernet and Firewire, but
none of this worked.

Any other ideas?
