[missing-sync-pocketpc-talk] Pocket PC Calendar Questions

Regardless of whether you buy a Palm or PocketPC, you will need to get
third party software because neither of the native apps do the line
across thing. The Palm shows little colored dots in each.
I was a Palm fan for a while and owned units right up to the Handera
330. When palm stopped producing interesting units, I switched to the
iPAQ 2215 and found it very impressive, but syncing is always a matter
of how hard you prayed that morning. It love the Pocket PC for games
and video, but finally caved and bought the Palm Zire 72, mainly
because someone else gave me the money. Syncing is much more reliable
with the Palm than it ever was with the PocketPC, but be warned, that
it probably still will not transfer the categories correctly for you.
Ive tried the Palm Hotsync and it works well. I fell for the blurb and
bought the Missing Sync for Palm because I had Missing Sync for
PocketPC and could get it for $19. If I had paid more, I would have
been very unhappy. I am currently just unhappy. I still need all the
conduits from my Palm Hotsync to get it to work. Bluetooth to Palm is
lousy compared to PocketPC, Internet on the Palm is lousy compared to
PocketPC, and the screens on the palm are (mostly) small and square
when everything we do is large and wide. Let me be honest, I have no
choice but to use Palm right now because we use MeetingMaker (POS) and
it does not like to work with the PocketPC at all, even on my Windows
machine.
If you want to go Palm, do what I am doing and buy a Tapwave Zodiac II.
It is a Palm, but has a 480 x 320 high resolution screen, 128MB RAM,
accelerated graphics and can play games much better than on a PalmOne
device. This does require the Missing Sync software, and I assume you
would have to pay extra for it. Check out www.tapwave. com
BTW: Why are you having your hair cut 3 times in one month?
