VP7 (last beta version) doesn't add any significant speed gains over VPC6,  
it really is only targeted for G5 compatibility, running the exact same 
emulation hardware otherwise.  Only XP with SP2 runs better in VPC7 than VPC6, and 
marginally so at that, some features lost with XP SP2 running in VPC6 are 
restored in VPC7 (mmc.exe errors). 

Activesync installs even on Windows PC's take a long time, particularly at 
the 91% point.   

Aborting the install  prematurely is virtually assuring future problematic 
syncs, fully uninstall before retrying, or better still, install on a fresh 
drive image.  

Always duplicate the drive image before major software installs for that 
reason, saving major headaches and time.
