[missing-sync-pocketpc-talk] connecting, mounting, but no iSyncing?

Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot the following?

My Jornada540 successfully connects to, and is mounted by my 
MissingSync, and initiates an iSync. However, iSync fails to actually 
sync calendar, contacts, and to-do items (i.e., anything; see iSync log 
below).

I know the PocketPC device is connected/mounted (I can browse the PPC 
directories from my Mac finder, transfer files, etc.), so it looks like 
something specific to the iSync PPC conduit?

Details:
	-Jornada540 running PPC2002 (w/ service pack1 installed)
	-MissingSync1.04
	-iSync 1.4
		-containing .Mac and PocketPC conduits
