Neil,

I did not get any problems syncing via Bluetooth on my PC or Mac with my
X30-Hi.
(BTW This works the same with all PPC's if any one else is having these same
issues)

Here are the steps you should follow.

1. Sync your X30 1 time using the cradle.

2. Make sure PC Bluetooth is working correctly ( Service Pack 1 for Windows
XP )

3. On X30,Use Bluetooth Manager to make a "ActiveSync via Bluetooth"
partnership.

4. Now Clicking "Next" 3 Times, this will bring you to "Bluetooth Connection
Wizard" , if your PC has been setup to be "Discoverable" , it will show on
your list.

5. Clicking on the PC icon will begin the paring process. ( type same
password on both X30 and PC ).

6. As soon as it takes both passwords , it will automatictly sync.

7. Everytime you want to sync with your PC , go into Bluetooth Manager, and
use the appropriate Bluetooth " My Shortcuts " .

Hope this helps

Manny
