[missing-sync-pocketpc-talk] Axim X30 ActiveSync over Bluetooth
problem

I have the Dell Axim X30 and have not had any problems connecting via
Bluetooth. You are correct that the second "Connect To" dialog is
ActiveSync trying to open a connecting with Missing Sync. The status
should change from "Device Connected" to "User Authenticated", and then
go away. At that point in ActiveSync it should say "connected." Does
this dialog go away on the handheld or remain there? Have you tried a
soft reset of the handheld? Do you have the Bluetooth 1.5 update
installed on your Mac? Are there other Bluetooth devices connecting to
this Mac?
Can you describe the ActiveSync settings? Tap on the Start menu >
ActiveSync > Tools > Options.
Verify that your Mac's name is in the "Use this PC" pop-up. Is anything
else selected on this page? Also what are the settings if you tap the
options button?
You should probably report this issue to Mark/Space support. Be sure to
include your Missing Sync log, and console log to
support at markspace.com.
Thanks!
