[missing-sync-pocketpc-talk] Address Book & PPC Phone Edition

Hi Dave,

I have found the application that is populating that field. I use fonix
voicedial, which is a voice dialing application. It puts a "last dialed
number" flag into field 0x4011001f of the contact database on the PPC.
It appears that this is the field you are mapping over into the
phonetic last name in the address book on the mac. I guess the only
solution to the problem is to not map the field, or for me to stop
using the voicedial application. Is the japanese phonetic last name
mapping really required for the english version of missing sync? Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated as I would love to use missing
sync and my regular PPC applications.

Kind Regards,

Jamie
