Two suggestions.

1) The ascynd process may have crashed. Restarting your Mac may help.  
If not, open console (inside the Utilities folder) and view the  
Console.log window. Send the contents of this window to  
Support at markspace.com with a description of the problem you are having.

2) Try the tip on the Mark/Space Knowledgebase article pasted below.
