My problem is different but similar.
I am at 10.2.8 and have not gotten my new phone and new Missing Sync to work
yet.
I can see the phone device in Apple Profiler but iSync won't find the
device.
AND, I have never gotten the registration page to come up on Missing Sync
although it creates log entries.
Error on the phone [Samsung i700 - Pocket PC-Active Sync] is:
The connection failed due to missing server information or user credentials.
Tap Options, and then the Server tab to verify that your server name is
correct. Then tap Advanced to verify that your user credentials are correct
and try again. Error code: DEV_9
I tried to do what they said but am a little stumped. It asks for user name,
psswrd, domain like it's for going to a site.
I put my mac's IP for the server info but doesn't seem to make much
difference.
Thanx for any help,
Peter
