I have the exact same problem! I have x50v and have given up on Bluetooth. The same thing happens with or without Missing Sync installed.
Fails with a pc too. Other users have the same issue...see http://www.aximsite.com

Anytime I've tried using bluetooth and mounting the axim x50v it always
~ crashes the axim if I transfer any files from it. Often times a soft
reset will do, but occasionally you will need to do a hard reset.
If I use the USB cable none of this happens. Has anyone else
experienced this?
