Where exactly is the speed improvement? Is it in the synchronizing 
itself. I ask because it seems like the transfer has always taken 
longer than the actual "sync math".

I'd think the transfer times could be sped up to. Maybe a difference 
between getting the whole database versus doing a series of record 
reads.

This is not my specialty. I'm just blowing speculation at the list.

The beta works fine for me. I didn't have any problems, but was lured 
by the faster syncing. It's a solid product which is really what's 
important.
