What I know so far about my bluetooth problems are:
The dongle works, as I can sync the 3650 fine, and it worked with my
Tungsten as well as the pc. No, I'm not trying to sync the Nokia 3650
and iPaq 2210 at the same time.
Bluetooth on the device works fine. I use it with my cell phone and I
can sync with a pc no problems.
Yes Missing Sync works through the cradle. Much faster than the Loox of
course.
"Have I transferred the license..." I have no idea what this means.
I've paid for the software, and have had successful USB syncs, so I
guess I have, but I have no idea what you mean there.
I just would love to know why Missing Sync sits there like a bump on a
log when trying to establish a connection (yes it's listening for
Bluetooth in the prefs). The Bluetooth on the Mac is seeing the device,
as you see the Bluetooth icon showing that there's a connection in
progress (yes they are paired). It's just Missing Sync does nothing
about it. I'd post the log, but there's no Bluetooth activity to post.
:(
And yes, firewall is off.
So I'm right back at square one... my imac is not "messed up" unless
you count this. :(
