Thanks for answering my questions. As long as device support is there 
(understanding that this will be an ongoing process with the ppc 2003 
slowly rolling out), it's all I need. If you succeed in making this 
even remotely stable, you will have stomped Activesync into the ground. 
:-)

My short wish list for possible pocket pc's are the iPaq 1940, or 
perhaps 2200 series, or a Dell Axim. In the meantime I have my trusty 
old dust-ridden Jornada 568.
