Next week there is a conference that may be of interest to members of this
list, the "Advanced Developers Hands On Conference" (the conference
formerly known as Machack).
<http://www.adhocconference.com>
Some of the cool sessions handheld developers might want to attend at
ADHOC/Machack:
- Keynote by David Pogue (starting at the refined hour of 12:01AM!)
- Feature presentation by Jordan Hubbard, manager of BSD Technologies at Apple
and formerly of Wind River and the FreeBSD project.
- "The Future of Palm Syncing" session by Eric Shapiro
(Writing conduits for Missing Sync for Palm OS using CDK 4.x and
CodeWarrior as always, but FINALLY Cocoa and X-Code)
- "That Syncing Feeling, For Windows Mobile" session by Dave Koziol
(Writing conduits/plug-ins for Missing Sync for Pocket PC)
If you attended Apple WWDC, there is a $100 discount available by request
(mention it when you register).
If you can't attend the conference, but are interested in more information
on writing Mac conduits for Palm OS or Pocket PC, please see
<http://www.markspace.com/developers.html> for links to our developer
resources, mailing lists, etc.
