Thanks Martin and everyone else, this code does in fact work for me  
and my UX50 as well.  (Great machine for email, I use it all the  
time, with wireless, or via Bluetooth and phone.)

Now, the next problem to tackle since the upgrade to MS 5.1.1 is the  
fact that I can no longer do a single sync but need to break the sync  
into two parts.  But that's for another day...
