[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Sync sometimes doesn't start

I thought I'd resolved this problem by removing the Palm desktop  
background but I haven't. Sometimes Missing Sync fails to start a  
hotsync. I just started my machine from scratch, started a sync and  
nothing happened in Missing Sync. I tried twice. Then I restarted the  
Macbook Pro and started a sync and this time it worked twice in a  
row. I'm not sure why it is failing to start.
