When selecting calendars to sync in the Missing Sync, make sure that  
the birthday calendar is NOT selected. The Palm pulls birthdays out  
of the contacts and puts those on the calendars. iCal does something  
similar when you select "Show Birthdays Calendar". So basically you  
have 2 programs being smart and putting in birthdays. So, just  
unselect the birthdays calendar and I believe you will be all set.
