[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Birthday event duplicates on Palm

Hi,

I have missing sync installed on two macs and am using 
iSync with .mac. I have a number of contacts that are 
maintained in addressbook on the mac os x 10.4.8 systems. 
 Some of these contacts have birthday entries.  Everytime 
I sync the palm E2 using missing sync I get a an 
additional event entry on the palm calendar for the 
birthday. This is in addition to the Birthday event for 
the day.  So, after several syncs I have one Birthday 
event plus multiple events, one for each synch, that are 
titled "Joe's Birthday", no time, repeat every year, 
category "Birthdays".  These do not appear in the Mac OS 
addressbook.

This has been happening with both current and previous 
missing sync versions and Mac OS X updates.  It does not 
appear to be related to having multiple Macs syncing with 
iSync.

Any ideas as to how to prevent these extra events from 
appearing?
