[missing-sync-palmos-talk] error message

This message will come up when we try to process a change for a  
record that we haven't already handled or haven't handled yet. It is  
a bug in the 5.0.x code that is fixed in our 5.1 beta.

I don't know if there is an easier explanation - but sometimes Sync  
Services will send us change information in the order that we don't  
want them to be in, and we were not ordering them correctly.
