[missing-sync-palmos-talk] NSInvalidArgumentException when synchronizing events

I'm having trouble syncing a calendar that was produced by Google  
calendars:
I create the calendar in Google,
subscribe to it using iCal, and
(attempt to) sync it using MS.

When I try to sync the calendar, I get the following message in the  
log file:
Sync starting at 6/26/06 8:48 AM (08:48:11) on USB (5.1.0)
NSInvalidArgumentException *** -[NSCFDictionary setObject:forKey:]:  
attempt to insert nil value
OK Mark/Space Events with 1 message(s)
Sync completed successfully at 6/26/06 8:50 AM (08:50:13)

I'm running MS 5.1.0 and I have desktop overwrites handheld.

Here's a trivial calendar that creates the problem
