It confuses MANY people :)
The alert comes from Tiger's Sync Services, and we have *very* little
control over it. Well, almost none. The only thing that we control is
the name of our sync client (our conduit): Mark/Space Events, in this
case.

In this case, our sync client (conduit) is the only thing that Sync
Services knows about - it doesn't have any awareness of the Palm. To
delete all calendars from Mark/Space Events means to delete all
calendars/events from the Palm.
The right answer to this, to NOT delete the Palm events, is to NOT
check the box and Allow the sync to happen. This will synchronized
iCal, .Mac, Mark/Space Events all together (even your iPod if you had
one connected).
If you were to click "Don't Allow" you have to go through some
additional steps to get that dialog back:
Open Missing Sync for Palm OS.
Hold down the Option key and double-click on Mark/Space Events.
Click on "Advanced Options" in the settings sheet.
Click on "Unregister Sync Client" and follow the warnings.
Restart.
Sync again.

We've logged a bug with Apple about that.

That's our warning that we couldn't synchronize because it was never
started correctly (by being allowed).
