[missing-sync-palmos-talk] "no time zone" and "Floating" time zone support

On upgrading from Missing Sync 4 to Missing Sync 5.1 the instructions stated that for the first sync with 5.1 the computer should overwrite the handheld data.

Upon doing so, all of the events from iCal v2.0.3 (Tiger 10.4.6) were set in the Palm Treo 650 (OS 5.4.8) to the time zone of the Mac in system preferences. Previously, all these events in the Palm used "no time zone" in the event time details. Time zone support in iCal was turned off. Palm Calendar "New events use time zones" is unchecked. "Enable Local Network Time" is unchecked.

Is there any way to change the event's time zone in the Palm Calendar to "no time zone" in a batch way as opposed to one by one? This is the way my boss demands it all to be set since he changes time zones frequently.

Also, I have been testing the time zone support in iCal and MS. However, the manner in which my boss wants to work would require using the "floating" time zone defined in iCal. Is it possible for a future version of MS to sync calendar events set to "floating" on iCal to be recorded as "no time zone" in Palm?

regards,
Alberto Garcia
